Hi, I'm Moe Abbas

There's a distance between what a creator intends and what actually ships. I've spent fifteen years closing it.

As a film/tv producer, I've run end-to-end development on shorts and commercials: developing ideas, raising funding, and running sets to close the distance from script to screen. As a grants reader for over a decade, I evaluated 900+ projects seeking up to $2M, assessing not just creative quality but but why projects would or wouldn't reach their audiences. As a UX Designer and Content Strategist at FitIn, a three-person SaaS startup, I was hired to design screens. I ended up filling gaps across brand voice, information architecture, empty and error states, and usability testing.

Different domains, same function: seeing the full chain from creative intent to shipped product, fixing what's blocking it and filling what's missing.

Now I work across games and tech. Right now I'm marketing/content strategy lead on The Otter Side, building go-to-market strategy and campaigns. I'm also writing and designing games of my own.

On LLMs

I use AI to build workflows, automate research and learning, and catch mistakes, including AI’s own. I’ve built custom tools and plugins to make that work. I don’t use it to generate art or writing (AKA “vibe-slopping”). What that looks like in practice.
